Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your use of Klera: Acne & Isotretinoin, developed by Tapply AI. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Klera.

Service Description

Klera is a digital tracking and education companion for people undergoing isotretinoin treatment. It offers dose and cumulative-dose tracking, reminders, a skin photo journal, symptom and mood tracking, lab and appointment logging, and an AI assistant. Klera is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not replace your doctor or pharmacist.

Accounts

You need an account (via Google or Apple Sign-In) to use Klera. You are responsible for the security of your account and for the accuracy of the information you provide. Klera is intended for adults; users under 18 should use it only with the consent and oversight of a parent or legal guardian.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: access another person's account; use the AI assistant to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content; upload content that infringes others' rights; or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service. We may suspend or permanently close accounts that violate these terms.

Intellectual Property

Klera, including its design, content, and software, is owned by Tapply AI and protected by applicable laws. The data and entries you create remain yours; you grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service for you.

Data and Privacy

Your use of Klera is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal and health data. Because Klera processes special-category health data, you confirm that you provide such data voluntarily and consent to its processing as described in the Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions

Klera offers an optional premium subscription. New users may receive a 7-day free premium trial; unless cancelled before it ends, it converts to a paid plan. Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store / Google Play account settings. Free users have a daily AI message limit; premium use is subject to a fair-use (anti-abuse) limit.

Termination

You may stop using Klera and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or where required by law. Upon account deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

Medical Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Klera is for informational and tracking purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult your dermatologist or doctor before making any decision about your treatment, dose, or medication, and never start, stop, or change a dose based on the app. In an emergency, contact local emergency services. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and must not be relied upon as medical guidance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tapply AI is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of Klera after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
