Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Shifa, developed by Tapply AI. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our service.

Service Description

Shifa is a comprehensive Islamic mobile application that provides features such as prayer times, Qibla finder, the Holy Quran with audio and translations, Dhikr counter, Islamic community features, and an AI-powered Islamic knowledge assistant. We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service, content, or features at any time with or without notice.

User Accounts and Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You must not share your account with others or use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

Islamic Community Guidelines

When using Shifa's community features, you agree to maintain respectful Islamic conduct and etiquette. Users must not post content that is offensive, disrespectful to Islamic values, or promotes division. Any form of harassment, hate speech, or inappropriate content will result in immediate account suspension. The community is a space for respectful Islamic discussion and mutual support.

AI Islamic Assistant Usage

The AI-powered Islamic knowledge assistant in Shifa is designed to provide general Islamic guidance and information. It should not be considered a replacement for consultation with qualified Islamic scholars for important religious matters. The AI assistant responses are based on widely accepted Islamic sources but may not cover all scholarly opinions. For critical religious decisions, please consult with qualified Islamic authorities.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Shifa to: violate any applicable laws or regulations; infringe upon the rights of others; transmit harmful, offensive, or un-Islamic content; disrespect Islamic values or teachings; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; interfere with or disrupt the service; or use the service for commercial purposes without our written consent.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of Shifa, including but not limited to Quran translations, audio recordings, Islamic content, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Tapply AI and respective copyright holders. The Holy Quran text is a divine revelation and free for all Muslims. Translations and audio recordings are provided under appropriate licenses. You may not commercially exploit, redistribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Data Collection and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Shifa, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. Your prayer data and personal spiritual practices remain private and are not shared with others.

Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of Shifa may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to Shifa immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms, violation of community guidelines, or posting inappropriate content. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately, and we may delete your account and data.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Shifa is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide accurate prayer times and Islamic content, we recommend verifying critical information with local Islamic authorities. The AI assistant provides general guidance and should not replace consultation with qualified scholars for important religious matters. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Shifa will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Turkish law. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through in-app notifications or email. Your continued use of Shifa after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
